10. ROLLOVER: You MUST Re-designate your agency selections this year. Yes, even if you are rolling over the same agencies and making the same donation amount as last year. (Please review the FAQ, re: Rollover)
9. FASTER & EASIER: The online giving system - which began at the start of the 2008 campaign - gave donors the chance to re-designate last year. This eliminated the need to re-designate again this year (2009) if donor's selections remained the same. Now, it's even faster and easier, because your designations are in the system.
8. CASH/CHECKS/PLEDGE CARDS: Please give all cash, check donations and completed pledge cards to your college, unit, or department coordinator. They will record and send to the UFCC Office in 111 Tigert Hall, Gainesville, FL 32611.
7. SPOUSE/PARTNER: If you and your spouse/partner want to combine your contribution - even if they are employed with another business locally, please indicate online at the UFCC online giving system on the "Donor information page" and/or on the preprinted pledge form with the name of the spouse/partner and employer to receive that credit. The credit will be determined by United Way, the fiscal agent of the UFCC.
6. DEDUCTION: When you pledge during the campaign during 2009, it will take affect January 1, 2010.
5. REMINDER E-MAILS: At the start of the campaign, you will receive a friendly reminder e-mail. For the next three weeks, the system will continue sending a reminder unless you sign on to complete your donation or choose "No Donation."
4. POP UP BLOCKER: The UFCC online giving system opens up in another window after you sign in. If the browser pop-up blocker is active. Deactivate by:
A: Hold down the "Ctrl" key, while you click on "UFCC Sign On." Continue holding down the key until a new page appears with your UFCC Welcome Page.
B: If you click on "UFCC Sign On" and a pop up screen (w/ a UFCC Welcome Page) does not appear, you will need to disable pop-up blocker. First, on your task bar, go to "Tools", scroll to "Pop-Up Blocker" and choose turn ?off pop-up blocker.? Now, click "UFCC Sign On" again for your Welcome Page.
3. CHARGE IT: If you are using a credit/bank card for a one-time pledge, you can reasonably expect all credit card donations made before 5 p.m. e.s.t. will be processed by 5 p.m. e.s.t. the following business day.
2. BACK BUTTON: The back button in your web browser is not active while you navigate in the UFCC online giving system. To maneuver, please use the back/forward arrows at the bottom and top of each UFCC eWay page.
